Uncover the intriguing theory that Edinburgh could be the true Jerusalem, woven through mythology and ancient texts. Dive deeper into this captivating exploration!
According to obscure British writer William Comyns Beaumont Jerusalem was originally placed not in Middle East, but was indeed on the place of Edinburgh, a culture dating back tens of thousands of years. I explore hints to it both in greek Mythology, Bible and Nordic and tibetan folklore. Not claiming his story about Constantine, whos father was indeed crowned in York and who needed to move the Capital of his empire away from stubborn and dangerous Scottish tribes, the author explores references to Scotland as the sight of Apocalyptic Battle of the future, the New Jerusalem.
